Everyone's heard of the Mediterranean diet and it's protective health benefits. But did you know that fish and olive oil aren’t the only sources of vital antioxidants?  Lycopene, a nutrient that occurs naturally in tomatoes, is actually one of the most powerful antioxidants around.  Experts believe eating 1 to 2 serves of tomatoes or tomato products every day is enough to have a positive impact on our health.1

There are so many easy (and tasty!) ways to include more tomatoes in your diet.  Tomato paste is a good source of lycopene as it contains concentrated tomatoes.  Why not add a generous dollop of tomato paste to your next bolognese sauce, or slather tomato paste all over a pizza base? You can even mix tomato paste with a little lemon juice, olive oil and vinegar and use it as a salad dressing.  Tomato based pasta sauces are also an important source of lycopene, so enjoy the Leggo’s range regularly.
