Leggo's Napoletana Pasta with Pesto

Serves 4

Penne pasta and Leggo’s Napoletana Pasta Sauce topped with crispy bacon and sundried tomatoes.

INGREDIENTS

575g jar Leggo's Napoletana Pasta Sauce
190g jar Leggo's Traditional Basil Pesto
500g penne pasta
4 rashers bacon, chopped

METHOD

  1. Cook pasta following packet directions. Meanwhile, place bacon onto an oven tray and cook under a preheated grill for 2-3 minutes or until crisp. Set aside and keep warm.
  2. Drain cooked pasta, return to saucepan with Leggo's Napoletana Pasta Sauce, cook for 2-3 minutes stirring occasionally or until heated through.
  3. Place pasta into serving bowls, pile bacon and a spoonful of Leggo's Traditional Basil Pesto on top and serve.

COOKING TIME

6 minutes
Tip: Shredded fresh basil leaves make a tasty garnish for this dish.
